Tarifa is located in Andalucia at the Southern tip of Spain where the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic meet. The African continent lies only 14 kilometers away and can be reached by ferry directly. The arabic influence reflects in the alleys and colorful flower-decorated courtyards.

Mass tourism has never made it down here. The local inhabitants (16'000 people) support our Spanish language programs. Spanish is the only language to communicate with the locals because most of them do not speak any foreign languages.

This small town became popular because of the variety of outdoor sport activities it offers, especially windsurfing and kitesurfing. Tarifa guarantees you a balance of a study- and fun vacation.

In spite of the recent foreign influences the traditions are still very much alive.

The way to the destination

If you arrive by plane your destination airports are either Málaga or Jerez de la Frontera. From there you can take a bus, use our pick up service from 100,- EUR or rent a car by the airport. According to your information about your arrival time in Tarifa we will meet you at school and take you to your accommodation. Possible arrival times are between 1.00 and 3.00 p.m. and between 6.00 and 8.00 p.m. If you would like to be picked up at the bus station in Tarifa, please inform us about your exact arrival time beforehand. The charges for the pick-up are 5,- EUR for arrivals between 10.00 a.m. and 8.00 p.m. Arrivals at school or the bus station at other times will be charged as follows: Arrivals later than 8.00 p.m.: 10,- EUR Arrivals later than 10.00 p.m.: 20,- EUR Arrivals later than 12.00 p.m.: 30,- EUR All charges for pick-ups should be paid in cash to the driver upon arrival.
